Monster High Haunt Couture Collection
Monster High is the very first brand I wrote for as a professional copywriter. I would go on to create for other brands but the ghouls would always stay dear to my heart. When Monster High relaunched in 2022, I found myself as the Lead Copywriter and voice of the brand, giving the dolls new life while staying true to the glam, wit, and nostalgia that made it a hit with ghouls everywhere. The Haunt Couture Collection included the five main monsters with their signature diaries and welcome back letter.
How long has it been? Seems like ages since I crept out of the crypt and let the sunshine hit my face. Well not literally. Vampire, remember? Aren't these totally fantastic mesh sleeves the most fashionable sunblock ever? And the rest of this creepy cute look? To die for. From the gore-geous cape with web details to the vamptastic heels that take this outft to scary new heights! My fave accessory has to be the VAMP hat. What better way to declare my vegetarian lifestyle and make my dad, Count Dracula, grind his fangs in frustration? Let's not let this much time pass before we see each other again! I simply can't bear this unlife without you!
Hey ghoul, we've got so much to catch up on, including that outfit choice, but we'll talk about that later. Feariously, it's been like, 120 full moons or so since we last fanged out! Of course, I'm still the fiercest fashionista to creep the halls of Monster High. Doesn't this clawsome look just make you wanna scream? Cleo de Nile, my arch fashion rival, is going to completely unravel when she sees this furious jacket paired with this leather skirt and howlin' open toe heels. It's a stroke of fashion genius! Can't wait to see how many screeches I get on my blog when the ghouls see this freaks fab look! Always a scream catching up with you! Now..can we talk about those shoes?
Wait, is it day 400 or day 4070? Either way, it's been a stitch or two since I last saw you! Lots of shocking stuff going on behind the screams! Don't you just love the way this look is put together? Check out this totally voltageous top with metallic skullettes and hardware vest for an edgy finish. The rest of the outfit is scare-dorable with a terrifying zipper-trim skirt plus high wattage heels with light switches! I can't believe Cleo actually found time to design this after her break - oops! Like I said, lots going on behind the screams! I've been falling apart without you, so let's fang out more often!
Oh my Ra! Where have you been?! I've been waiting centuries...ok maybe not centuries, but given my royal stature, I have been kept waiting for far longer than what is acceptable. I'm sure you're dying for a full recollection of what I've been wrapped up in. Father always says because we are of royal birth, it is our duty to always look our absolute best. I'm totally fulfilling my royal duty with this drop dead gore-geous glittery mummy fringed robe. My jogger set is fit for a queen with a golden mummy wrapped halter and matching high-waisted pants. With chic scarab shoes and accessories, this outft is enough to make a monster unravel! Clawdeen Wolf certainly outdid herself designing this look. Don't you dare tell her said that! Hey mate! Where you been hiding? Feels like I've caught so many waves without you. We definitely have some catching up to do!
